Lauri Baker was born within the uk on 2nd March 1917. he later settles in Kerala, India where he dies on 1st April 2007. In his lifetime, he has selflessly contributed to the thought of effortless living coherent with mother nature. He was awarded the Padmashree by the Indian govt for his work. His ways of thinking are extremely organic and consonant with the character. His way of seeing architecture epitomizes an easy yet extravagantly creative mind, which bagged him the title of Gandhi of architecture. His efficient use of raw materials, cut methods are a couple of of the specialities that his designs carry.
